Meet
Dr. Luke Pietrantone
D.C., DIBAK
Dr. Luke Pietrantone’s approach to care has evolved over more than two decades of clinical experience. Early on, he recognized that standard techniques were not always sufficient for the complex cases walking through his door. This realization led him on a path to study a wide range of integrative therapies designed to empower patients and support more complete, lasting outcomes.
Today, Dr. Pietrantone uses a multidisciplinary approach that blends chiropractic care, applied kinesiology (AK), nutrition, emotional release, laser therapy, soft tissue work, neurological rehabilitation, and neurofeedback. While each therapy has value, the key is determining which one a patient will respond to best. That’s where AK excels—by using muscle testing, the body itself reveals where attention is needed, helping to clarify priorities and accelerate progress.
He views the body as an interconnected system, where physical, chemical, and emotional imbalances overlap. Symptoms in one area may be caused or influenced by dysfunction in another. By approaching care through this systems-based lens, Dr. Pietrantone aims not only to relieve symptoms, but also to identify and address their root causes.
Meet
Dr. Michelle Pietrantone
Dr. Michelle was first inspired to become a chiropractor at the age of sixteen, while working at a local chiropractic office. This opportunity revealed a new model of health care and helped Dr. Michelle see there is more to health than taking medication.
After 8 years of general practice, Dr. Michelle completed advanced training with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), focusing her practice to exclusively treat women through their pregnancy, as well as infants and children. Over the last 16 years she has helped hundreds of women through their pregnancies and postpartum recoveries. Dr. Michelle has had the privilege of attending many of her patients’ births, both at home and in the hospital setting. Dr. Michelle delivered both of her children at home with a caring and devoted midwife in Ashburn, Virginia. Since the births of her children, Dr. Michelle has continued to be active in the birth community, working closely with midwives, doulas, lactation consultants and OBs. She has helped give women the knowledge they need to have the peaceful birth and post-partum experience they desire.
Dr. Michelle is an active member of the ICPA and is certified in the Webster technique. Webster technique is a method of assessment used to determine function of the sacrum and pelvic muscles/ligaments. Sacral misalignment may contribute to pain during pregnancy as well as create tension in the pelvic and uterine muscles and ligaments. Left uncorrected, these restrictions may result in difficult and/or longer than average labor, as the baby is unable to get into optimal birthing position. This technique can help alleviate the tension and restrictions, allowing normal movement of the uterus. With proper care throughout pregnancy the pelvis is able to function optimally, often allowing for a shorter and less painful birth experience.
Dr. Michelle’s Chiropractic mission is to assist her patients in finding a natural,
all-encompassing approach to health for their families. With the wealth of information available, it is hard to decipher what is truth and what is myth when it comes to health and wellness. Dr. Michelle guides her patients to find confidence in trusting their intuition, helps them learn to listen to their bodies, and offers new choices and options in their health care decisions.
